Membership Expectations
If you are interested in becoming a member of the group your next steps are as follows:
1. Like Us on our public FB page named Durbin Connect. facebook.com/
2. Visit our online Membership Directory to view the profiles of all current members and book a one on one meeting with a board member ASAP. During that meeting be prepared to discuss the professional category you desire to fill. In addition to getting together once weekly to network and share our marketing minute, the best way to build your business is by getting to know each and every member of the group. Having a one on one meeting with a board member should be the first of many.
3. There is no cost to join however there is a strict attendance policy. To become eligible to join, simply attend 3 consecutive meetings and put in your application promptly on the 3rd to ensure no one else claims your category before you do. Upon putting in your application, all Durbin Connect board members will review it and vote. 4 out of 7 YES votes are what is needed to finalize membership approval. In the event that your category is currently filled, be sure to check in with a board every couple of months as sometimes they will become available again and we will be able to provide you with that information.
4. In order to maintain your membership, you must never miss more than 2 meetings in a row. You are allowed to have a sub fill in your place if on occasion you can’t attend, however it cannot be a current member of the group. (It must be a guest, new or returning.)
